About the Battery Energy Storage Project
Joel Joel BESS is located approximately 229 kilometres West Northwest of Melbourne. The project will support Victoria’s clean energy transition and secure reliable, affordable power for Victorians. Additionally, Joel Joel BESS will be one of the state’s largest Battery Energy Storage Systems once operational and will connect directly to Bulgana Terminal Station.
